In accordance with what would have been Denis Bowen's 100th Birthday, this retrospective essay looks and the incredible and varied life of the artist. 

Week 1 of the exhibition focuses on familial bonds.  Agape - unconditional and self sacrificing love is seen in the bonds between friends and families.

The landscape genre can be interpreted as escapism.  it draws the audience in through its engaging capture of settings and vistas and allows them, in that moment, to forget their immediate surroundings, transporting them to somewhere other worldly and serene.  This weeks blog looks at the work of 5 artists with their unique take on landscapes.

'Wild at Heart' addresses the ways in which wildlife artists represented by the gallery, have paid homage to the raw and simplistic beauty of the natural world.

This weekly blog, focuses on the use of narrative within the work of Sonia Martin, Natalie Papamichael, PF Bennett and Matt Lambert. As an onlooker, we are invited into a situation which we are then permitted to dissect, whilst asserting our own narrative.
